Below is a video of just a sample of what the last 30 minutes was like of our drive home from the beach. Before you hit play, you may need to mute the video in the previous post by clicking the volume button at the top of the slide show. (But don't mute it if you haven't watched it yet...it's really cute). Enjoy this video, and get just a taste of our happy family!
OK, now that you have seen it, you know that we were not exactly "happy" at that moment! Let me set the scene for you. It was about 7pm, and a horrible storm (with lots of thunder and lightening) was going on outside as we were completing our 6 hour drive home from the beach that took us 8 hours. And for those of you that do not know, my kids are deathly terrified of storms. Davis would scream over and over things like..."I...WANT...TO...GET...OUT!!!" and "SOME...ONE...UN...BUCKLE...ME!!!" Imagine these things said in the voice of a VERY angry 2-year old, through screams, tears, and occasional throwing of objects, all the while hearing the wails of his 3-month old brother that is now frightened by the sounds of demons coming from his brother, and the 5-year old brother in the very back yelling, "DAVIS...STOP...SCREAMING...STOP IT...YOU ARE HURTING MY EARS!!!!" In addition, Parker would start to cry after many of the loud claps of thunder. My mom, Noah, and myself got so tickled that we couldn't quit laughing. What else can you do during a horrible scene like this. This video doesn't even do it justice, but it was pretty funny!

I love it!! I am sure this exact scene has happened many times in my very own vehicle. Good to know that other people's kids aren't perfect either! Love ya'll.
I laughed OUT LOUD when Noah turned the camera on himself!
