A Visit from the Army!

We had an unexpected surprise. My sister, Aunt Jennifer, decided to come in town with the kids for for an 11 day visit. It has been great! It was the first time that the kids got to see Emerson. They have been so sweet with him, especially Rebekah! We have been spending lots of time with them which has been great. Uncle Robert has been in Iraq since November, and is getting ready to come home for 18 days! Please keep him in your prayers as he travels home. It will take him quite a few days to get home. Jennifer and the kids are so excited about the visit. Keep him, and the rest of their family, in your prayers as he will be returning to Iraq after his visit until March of next year.

Here are some pictures of the first few days of our visit.
This is Rebekah holding Emerson.
This is Rachel.
These pictures are from the pool. The first one is of Emerson (he is 1 month old now). Aunt Jennifer was keeping him cool in his shades.
Parker and Patrick are best buddies. They are attached at the hip when they are visiting! It breaks my heart every time they have to leave. It never gets easier. We will be spending a week together at the beach in July, so we are really looking forward to that!
Davis is my one child who has no fear! The first time he went down the slide, he didn't wait to make sure someone was going to catch him and Aunt Jennifer had to jump in to catch him! Davis LOVES his Aunt Jennifer. In fact, I think she has him wrapped around his little finger (I'm not sure she knows it though). He couldn't have gotten me in that freezing cold water, but all he had to say to Aunt Jennifer was "you catch me Aunt Jennifer?", and in the water she went. Too sweet! Aunt Jennifer actually had Davis saying that he wants to move to the army, and get an "army haircut". Can you imagine either of my kids with an "army haircut"?
