Roadtrip to Greenville, SC

A couple of weekends ago, Noah needed to make a trip to Greenville, SC for a quick work trip, so the boys and I decided to join him. Greenville is such a neat little town. We were only there for one night, but it was such a great getaway.

This was taken in the lobby of the hotel. The boys loved the indoor ponds with the huge fish. Parker, being ever so cautious trying to keep Davis safe (our family safety patrol). He did not like Davis getting too close to the water.
In downtown Greenville, they have something called "Mice on Main". It is based on the book Goodnight Moon. In this book, there is a small mouse on each page...my kids have always called this mouse "Tiny Mouse" (said with a cute little high pitched voice). "Mice on Main" has 9 different mice hidden on Main Street with clues that you have to follow to find each one. We had SO much fun. It took us about an hour, and the boys loved every second of it. It was worth taking the roadtrip just for that!

This was the first mouse, with a bronzed copy of the book.
This was the second mouse, and the boys had to work a little harder to find this one.
"Where is that mouse? It said at the top of the stairs."
"Oh, there it is...by the cats!"
Tough Man Davis
Here's another one!
Davis insisted on stopping to look at the map, even though it had nothing to do with the mice. He might not be a typical man afterall.
This one was really tough to find!
After dinner, we had yummy ice cream.
Do you think Emerson enjoyed his?
Napkin anyone?
MMMMMM Good!
The kids thought the indoor pool at the hotel was SO awesome! You would think we don't get them out much, but we really do. They also thought it was way cool that they got to swim until 9:30 that night!
Sunday morning.
Our view from our room. If you look closely, Noah and both boys are on the putting green.
They had a great time putting around.
Davis was really thinking about his shot.
Even Emerson got into it.
Once again, our cautious Parker, was not too sure about the glass elevator since we were on the top floor!
On Sunday afternoon, we went to Falls Park. It was the 5th anniversary of the park, so they were having a festival with a live band. We had a picnic, and we had so much fun!Me and my sweet boys.
Going on an "Adventure".

Having our picnic.
Sweet boy
My 4 favorite boys!
