100th Day of School

Tuesday, January 20th was officially the 100th day of school. Having not been a teacher myself, I had no idea what a big deal this was. Apparently they have been counting the days since the beginning until they got to the big day. Parker had his first officially project to do for this special day. He was supposed to put together a collection of 100 things. The ideas were limitless, but not so easy for us to come up with. We finally decided to do a 100 piece puzzle, and to glue the pieces to a piece of cardboard. We did it together on Monday because it was a school holiday (MLK Day). That is why the kids are in their pajamas! It was so fun. Davis even "helped" as much as he could. Parker was so proud of his
project when it was completed. I was up in his class later that week, and it was so fun to see all of the creative ideas his friends had come up with as well.
