Wednesday, April 30, at 1:06pm, Emerson Reid Ryan made his grand entrance into this world. My C-Section started at about 12:40, so it didn't take too long. We were all a little nervous and anxious, but everything went perfectly. When he was delivered, the first noise he made was a sneeze. It was pretty cute. I was not able to see him for about 15 minutes, so Noah would take pictures on the other side of the room, and then bring the camera over to me to see. After about 30 minutes after he was born, they took us to the recovery room where I was finally able to hold him. That was also when family was able to come in and see us too. Emerson was 7lbs 14oz, and 20.5 inches long. He has lots of dark hair, which was a pretty big surprise.
Parker and Davis were brought up to the hospital after they had us settled into a room. They were able to come in and meet Emerson for the first time. They were too cute with him! Parker was a little more hesitant to hold him at first, but after Davis paved the way, he was ready. They both held him, and were very interested to learn more about him.

On Saturday, May 3, we were able to come home from the hospital. Emerson came home in the same outfit that Parker and Davis both wore home from the hosptial. We had an uneventful ride home (except almost having to pull over because I felt sick), and Emerson seemed to like his car seat. So, here it is, Monday the 5th, and we are starting to settle in. Gamma has been here a lot helping us out, which has been wonderful. We are getting used to being a family of 5. We are a little busy at the moment, but I will try to add new pictures as much as possible.
