Every year, for many years now, 6 families that are our closest friends, get together to celebrate Christmas. When we are all together, we have 12 adults and 15 kids all ages 7 and under (for now). This get together has been named our "Family Gathering", and I can't think of a better name because this group is as close to family to us as if we shared the same blood. The kids all draw names to exchange gifts, and the moms bring goodies for a swap at the end of the evening. Another tradition is for all of the kids to change into their Christmas PJs. This year, we decided to bring them in their PJs to save an extra step in changing. Every year I am reminded of how blessed we are by this group of friends. Our kids are all such good friends, and it melts my heart to see them all playing so well together and being such great friends. Our Family Gathering is one of the highlights of our December each year. Here are some pictures of our wonderful evening!

Family Gathering
Our goodies to get ready to swap.
Time for our gift exchange!
Emerson eating dinner (with his pink sippy cup since we were at the Ford's house)
Now this crew has grown up together for sure! I love it!

Here is the difference between boys and girls. This is a picture of the girls....see below for the attempt I took of getting a picture of the boys as well.
